Strong performances at the European Indoor Championships in Torun
Brit Amy-Eloise Markovc delivered a fantastic run at the European Indoor Champs and took gold in the women’s 3000m final.
In the final lap she went all in and finished in first place with a new personal best of 8:46.43min.
Jodie Williams secured two more medals for Team GB. In the 400-meters final Jodie sets a personal best of 51.73 seconds to win bronze. One day later Jodie & the British 4×400 team came back to secured silver.
German Kevin Kranz took another medal in a thrilling 60-meters final. The 22-year-old sprinter finished in 6.60 seconds behind the Italian Lamont Marcell Jacobs, who set a new world lead of 6.47 seconds. The Silver medal is Kevin’s best international result of his career so far. Hanna Klein showed another great performance for Germany. In the 1500m final Hanna finished her race with a final sprint in third place. Also Marcel Fehr (GER) was able to secure a spot in the 3000m final; where he set a new personal best of 7:48.06 to finish in 10th place.
