Ritz wins his first race in 2015 – 10k Campaccio
Dathan Ritzenhein started the new year with a win.
Ritz, who had not run a XC race in nearly two years, won the 10K Campaccio in Italy in 29:08min.
It was a strong start to the year for Ritz after a rough 2014 season, in which he raced just once.
The Campaccio race was the start into a busy week for Ritz, who will run in the elite division 4K at the Bupa Great Edinburgh XC on the 10th of Jan.
Canadian Mohammed Ahmed finished 7th in the same race.
