Muir sets British Indoor 1500m record in Lievin, Reekie wins the 800m
It was a very successful day at the World Athletics Indoor Tour meeting in Lievin, France.
Brit Laura Muir opened her season with a strong performance. With a time of 3:59.58 minutes she set a new British 1500m indoor record. Also German athlete Hanna Klein completed a strong race, finishing in 5th place with a new indoor personal best of 4:06. 86 minutes.
Laura’s training partner Jemma Reekie also confirmed her good shape in her first race in 2021. Jemma crossed the finish line as the 800m winner in 2:00.65min ahead of Ethiopian Habitam Alemu.
