Laura Muir smashes British 5,000m Indoor Record
Laura Muir ran 14:49.12min to break the 25-year old British Indoor Record over 5,000m at tonight’s Glasgow Miler Meet.
Previous Record holder was Liz McColgan.
Muir said: “I am delighted to get it and it is nice to know now where I am at in terms of the 5,000m.”
Laura will next compete as British team captain at the Great Edinburgh Cross Country this Saturday, which will be shown live on BBC between 1:15 – 3:30pm.
