Laura Muir breaks European Record in Karlsruhe
Laura Muir smashed the European indoor 3,000m Record with a time of 8:26.41min in Karlsruhe tonight and moved to fifth place on the world all-time list.
The Scot who broke the British indoor 5,000m record in Glasgow last month, showed another strong performance at the World Indoor Tour meet in Karlsruhe, Germany, beating Olympic 5,000m silver medallist Hellen Obiri who finished 2nd with 8:29.46.
Laura’s next race will be over 1,000m at the Birmingham Indoor Grand Prix on the 18th of February.
