Claye jumps to the silver medal at World Championships 2019 in Doha
Claye won his second straight silver in the triple jump at World Champs behind Christian Taylor his longtime friend and rivale.
Claye entered the competition with the world lead, but he could not jump over the 18m mark this time and had to be satisfied with 17.74m and the second place.
Claye said: “It’s still a blessing to get the silver, the second best in the whole world, so I can’t complain about that. So I’m happy for that. And I just want more. Next time I want more.”
