Weekend Update – Nitro, Torun & Millrose Games
Millrose Games – NY:
It was Brannon Kidder (Brooks Beasts), who set a new World leading time of 2:19.92min over the 1,000m. His team mate Loxsom finished more than 1 sec slower in 2nd place.
Also Ben True (Saucony) finished 1st over the 2 miles distance. In a stacked field including Olympic champion Centrowitz, True had the strongest finish and won the race in 8:11.33min. Mo Ahmed (Nike Bowerman TC) finished 4th, but broke the Canadian Record with 8:13.16min. Garrett Heath (Brooks Beasts), who’ll next compete at the Birmingham Indoor Grand Prix, finished in 6th place.
Cory Leslie (Nike) finished 9th and Katie Mackey (Brooks Beasts) 10th in the Wanamker Mile.

Copernicus Cup – Torun:
While Ojie Edoburun (Adidas) couldn’t compete in men’s 60m final, due to a minor injury, his training partner CJ Ujah (Nike) finished 2nd in a new European leading time of 6.56sec.
Their team mate Imani Lansiquot (Puma) ran a new PB of 7.30sec to qualify for the final where she finished 6th.

Nitro Athletics – Melbourne:
Kurtis Marschall (Adidas) and Liz Parnov (Adidas) showed strong performances for Team Australia in the Pole Vault. Also their team mate Anneliese Rubie (Puma) made the difference in the mixed medley relay, running the 600m in 1:26.1min. At the end Team Australia finished 2nd overall, while the Bolt Allstars team brought home the win. Nina Kennedy (Adidas) was part of the Bolt-Team and won the women’s PV during Rd. 2.
