Greg Rutherford ends illustrious career in Newcastle
Greg Rutherford launched himself into a long jump pit for the last time ever at the Great North City Games in Newcastle this Saturday.
Winning Gold at the 2012 Olympic Games, 2014 Commonwealth and European Championships, as well as 2015 World Championships, made him the first British athlete to hold all major outdoor titles at the same time – along with the British record of 8.51m.
It certainly has been a ride over the past 6-years and we enjoyed every minute of it.
